We are happy to announce the SEBCO Summer Swim Team is back and we are looking forward to a great 2024 swim season!
ABOUT US
SEBCO Swim Team is a competitive summer swim team in the Alle-Kiski Valley Swim League, which consists of 6 teams in the area.
WHO CAN JOIN
Youth ages 5-17 participate in the summer swim league with 5 meets per summer plus a championship meet; boys & girls able to swim one length of pool are encouraged to join & be part of the fun. Being an excellent swimmer is not a requirement to be part of the swim team.
WHEN DO WE PRACTICE
Practice begins Tuesday May 28, 2024 - Friday July 12, 2024 and is held at Sebco Pool.

Practices are Monday-Friday from 7:30 p.m.-9:00*p.m. (*8 and under swimmers finish between 8:15 and 8:30). Qualified coaches focus on improving technique & stroke skills while still providing a fun and enjoyable activity.

All parents should attend the first part of our first practice held on Tuesday May 28, 2024 to learn about important dates and information.
TEST THE WATERS TRIAL PROGRAM
Swimmers who are unsure if this is for them are welcome to come and try our Test The Waters program before registering for the season. There will be a $20 sign-up for for this program which will be deducted from your registration fee if your child decides to join the team. Test the waters is the 1st week of practice only from May 28, 2024 thru May 31, 2024.

HOW MUCH IS IT TO JOIN
Registration Dues are currently $130 for the first swimmer and $100 per additional sibling. Become a Sebco Season Passholder and receive a $40 discount! Non-Season Pass-holders are encouraged and welcome to join, however, there is an additional ‘pool-use’ fee of $40 per swimmer payable to the Sebco Pool Association. Parent participation fee is required and is $75. Your check will be held until the end of the season and returned upon fulfillment of participation duties.
WHAT DO YOU NEED
Swimmers will need to wear a navy blue swimsuit. Girls are required to wear a 1 piece suit, boys must wear jammers. You will also need to bring goggles, a towel, hair ties, drinks and warm clothes for when you leave. The team will provide a silicone swim cap to each swimmer, but you are welcome to purchase your own as well.

We will have 5 swim meets throughout the season which are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:00pm and 1 championship meet (see schedule above). There is no practice on swim meet days. Lollipops is the championship meet for 8 and under swimmers, however, they may participate at the older championship meet as well if they choose to do so, this meet will require them to swim 2 lengths, down and back. This year, 3 meets are at home (Sebco) and 2 are away. In order to have a successful swim meet we do need parents help in several areas - concession, timing, scoring, etc. (a sign-up genius will be sent out with these jobs).
